Jeep Wrangler 2007-2018 JK HEMI Conversion
OVERVIEW
A HEMI-swapped JK puts serious thermal demand on the cooling system. Stock units weren’t engineered for it — and most aftermarket radiators simply don’t address the root cause of field failures: tube integrity under sustained heat and pressure.
The Fluidyne JK HEMI Conversion Radiator is built around two engineering decisions that change the durability equation: extruded aluminum tubes and a 5mm high-density fin pitch. Together they maximize heat rejection while eliminating the leak points that conventional tube construction inherently creates.
KEY DIFFERENTIATORS
Extruded Aluminum Tubes
Formed as a single continuous extrusion — no seams, no joints along the tube wall. This is the primary leak point in conventional radiator construction, and it doesn’t exist here.
5mm Fin Pitch
Tighter fin spacing increases surface area in contact with airflow, accelerating heat transfer per square inch of core. More cooling capacity within the same envelope as stock.
True Direct Fit
Accommodates the stock JK radiator fan, A/C condenser, and transmission cooler. No fabrication, no adapter brackets — bolts in where the stock unit came out.
Full Aluminum Construction
Tanks, core, and extruded tubes are all aluminum — minimizing corrosion potential and keeping weight down on a build that’s already carrying a heavier engine.
WHY TUBE CONSTRUCTION MATTERS
Most radiator failures in high-output HEMI swaps aren’t caused by the fins or tanks — they’re caused by the tubes. Conventional tube construction creates stress points along every joint. Under the thermal cycling of a HEMI application (high idle temperatures, aggressive towing loads, trail heat), those stress points are where cracks initiate.
Fluidyne’s extruded tubes have no longitudinal seam. The tube is the extrusion. There is no joint to fail.
