The 2010 through 2012 Ram heavy duty trucks have always been the lost years of the Cummins lineup. Wedged between the fourth-generation body change and the 2013 refresh, these trucks got passed over by an aftermarket that built for the model years on either side of them and left owners to settle for plastic-tank replacements or parts that “almost” fit. Fluidyne built this radiator specifically for the forgotten trucks, and built it to outlast every stock and budget unit ever bolted into one.

The core is where this radiator separates itself. Instead of the thin, stamped-and-folded tubes found in most aftermarket radiators, Fluidyne uses true extruded aluminum tubes, formed as a single continuous piece with a heavier wall section and no seams to split under pressure or vibration. Extruded tubes hold their shape under the heat cycling and chassis flex a working Cummins lives with every day, and the increased wall thickness gives the core a durability margin that folded tubes simply cannot match when the truck is loaded, towing, and pulling grade in July. Four rows of these tubes provide the fluid volume and tube surface area to move serious heat out of a 6.7L under sustained load.

The tanks are fabricated from thick-gauge aluminum sheet rather than thin pressed stock, and every tank seam, inlet, outlet, and fitting is hand TIG welded. TIG welding produces a deep, controlled penetration weld with a clean bead that resists fatigue cracking where cheaper furnace-brazed or MIG-welded assemblies eventually let go. This is the same fabrication standard found on purpose-built race cooling, applied to a truck that is expected to work for hundreds of thousands of miles.

Fitment is engineered as a direct replacement for the factory unit, using the original mounting points, hose connections, and fan shroud location so installation requires no cutting, drilling, or modification. For the owner who kept their lost-years Ram because it is still one of the best-running Cummins trucks ever built, this is the radiator it should have been built with from the start.
