2006–2010 Chevy/GMC 2500/3500 6.6L Duramax | 5-Row Extruded Tube Aluminum Radiator
LBZ and LMM Duramax. The Platform Grew Up. Your Radiator Should Too.
The 2006–2010 GMT900 Duramax trucks — covering the LBZ and LMM — represent the platform at its most capable from the factory. These trucks tow more, make more power, and handle more abuse than their predecessors. The factory cooling system, however, still relies on a plastic-tank radiator that was never overbuilt for the kind of use these trucks actually see. Whether you’re pulling a fifth wheel, running a tuner, or working in extreme heat, the OEM unit has limited margin and the common aftermarket alternatives aren’t a meaningful improvement.
This 5-row extruded aluminum radiator is engineered specifically for the 2006–2010 Chevy and GMC 2500HD and 3500HD with the 6.6L Duramax. It mounts directly in the factory location with no cutting, no drilling, and no fabrication required.
Done replacing radiators? So are we.
Most aftermarket aluminum radiators — including well-known brands — TIG weld only the end tanks and rely on brazed joints where the core meets the header. That junction is exactly where they crack and leak under diesel heat cycling and vibration. It’s not a matter of if — it’s when.
Fluidyne eliminates that failure point entirely with a fully extruded aluminum core — a single-piece design with no brazed tube-to-header joints anywhere in the core. Every tank, fitting, and seam is finished with premium TIG welds throughout. The result is a radiator that is genuinely heavy duty, built to last, and engineered to be the last one you ever put in this truck.
Five rows of heat rejection, matched to the GMT900 platform.
The 5-row design gives you significantly more cooling capacity than the factory radiator or most 2–3 row aftermarket units — critical if you’re towing heavy, running a tuner, or dealing with a hot climate. At 23.5″ of core height, this unit is sized to the larger GMT900 engine bay, and the fin pitch is optimized for the factory shroud setup so you’re not fighting airflow or fan clearance issues.
