1995-1997 Ford F250 7.3L Powerstroke Extruded Tube 5-Row Radiator
This radiator is built for the 1995-1997 Ford F250 running the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel, using a 5-row extruded tube core — an upgrade over the factory row count for this application. Extruded tube construction holds consistent wall thickness across the core, improving resistance to pressure cycling and reducing tube fatigue under sustained heat load, which matters most on trucks running towing, plowing, or elevated coolant temperatures from aftermarket power increases.
Core and tanks are constructed from aluminum, with tanks TIG-welded and built to the thickest wall section in the industry for this application, giving the end tanks more resistance to warping and seam failure under repeated heat cycling and pressure than thinner cast or stamped tank designs.
This is a downflow radiator, direct plug-and-play for the factory location — no cutting or modification required. Overall dimensions are 30.31 in. wide by 29.25 in. tall by 4.17 in. thick, with a core measuring 29.68 in. wide by 23.62 in. tall by 1.77 in. thick. Inlet is located upper driver’s side, outlet lower passenger side.
The core uses a 5mm fin height, compared to the 8mm fin height used on the factory radiator and most other aftermarket cores. Reducing fin height allows additional vertical rows of cooling tubes to fit within the same overall core height, increasing total tube count and total surface area available for heat transfer — more coolant exposed to more fin surface, moving more heat into the airflow through the core.
This radiator includes an integrated transmission cooler with adapter fittings included, and ships with a billet radiator cap. Finish is natural aluminum.
Recommended for trucks used in towing, plowing, or high-load applications where factory cooling capacity runs marginal, and for trucks already showing signs of overheating under load with the stock radiator.
