Q: I don’t see a radiator for my car listed. Can you make me one to fit my car?

A: FLUIDYNE does not make custom one-off direct fit radiators. To make a true direct fit design, a surprising amount of time must go into engineering, fitment and production development. This makes custom direct fits prohibitively expensive. Some customers use existing prints or possibly universal style racing radiators to modify and mount into their cars. We take pride in making sure our direct fits are truly direct fits.

Q: I can get a group buy of about 20-30 radiators for my unlisted application. If we provide the sample radiator, can FLUIDYNE make it?

A: Chances are if the application has enough market demand, we are already discussing the possibilities of adding to our line or already have it on our schedule to develop. To be considered for the direct fit process, we must analyze the potential market and make add to the development schedule accordingly. Although 20-30 radiators seem like a decent quantity order, we must compare it to the designs that have a broader market potential.

Q: How does FLUIDYNE handle group buys?

A: FLUIDYNE refers group buy inquiries to our existing distribution system.

Q. What makes a FLUIDYNE radiator better than those offered by other manufacturers?

A. At FLUIDYNE we make certain that our radiators are truly direct-fit, bolt-in replacements. There will be no modifications to the vehicle necessary to install a FLUIDYNE radiator into the specified applications. Also, FLUIDYNE does not use epoxy to seal any part of the radiator. The cores are assembled using our million dollar Nocolok brazing furnace, and all tanks and brackets are TIG welded by hand. Many of FLUIDYNE’S cores are approximately twice as thick as the original cores for extra cooling ability.

Q. How much increase in cooling will I expect from a FLUIDYNE radiator?

A. Many factors enter into this, such as engine horsepower, ambient temperature, vehicle speed, and amount of airflow. Generally speaking, a 20-25% increase in cooling ability is a number which is usually obtainable.

Q. Can I purchase a radiator directly from FLUIDYNE High Performance?

A. Yes, the radiators can be purchased direct, or by checking the FLUIDYNE website, a list of nearby stocking Dealers and Distributors can be found.

Q. Can FLUIDYNE manufacture a custom, one-off radiator for my special application?

A. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer to build custom radiators to specifications other than out listed catalog items.

Q. Do FLUIDYNE radiators have any warranty?

A. FLUIDYNE High Performance radiators come with a one year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.

Q. Are FLUIDYNE radiators only for racing use?

A. No, FLUIDYNE radiators work extremely well in today's high horsepower street cars as well as racecars. FLUIDYNE radiators can handle the extra heat generated by turbocharged, supercharged, or nitrous injected motors.

Q. Will FLUIDYNE radiators fit a car with an automatic transmission?

A. FLUIDYNE does make radiators with transmission coolers built in for Mustangs, however the import car radiators would need to order an auxiliary transmission cooler such as our part number #FHP10026.
